Meet Dennis
Dennis is a bilingual (English and Spanish, working on adding Italian and French!) therapist who holds a M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University and was originally trained abroad as a Psychologist. A dedicated professional who values research, collaboration and effective communication. Experienced in working with culturally diverse populations of all demographics in different countries and settings. An insatiable learner with an understanding of reality as dialectic, systemic and contextual.
Dennis practices psychotherapy from an integrative approach through a developmental lens based on cultural-historical psychology and CBT principles. Dennis aims to expand self-awareness and stimulate critical thinking while accompanying his clients through their necessary evolution towards new habits, connection and adaptation. Typical stressors addressed range from co-morbid SUDs and psychiatric disorders to a variety of daily life challenges.
Dennis is working towards his licensure in Florida as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor under the supervision of a Qualified Supervisor and offers reduced fee therapy.
